Weight loss wonders
The day didn't turn out nearly as bad as I thought it would food-wise, in spite of the parties at work.
At breakfast, they brought in doughnuts & coffee, so I had a total of three with two cups of coffee.
Lunchtime: Big buffett of great food! I made my famous chili-cheese dip w/Fritos - I only had four chips w/ dip. I also had a tablespoon each of several different things - 3 cocktail weenies, southern creamed corn, green beans, crock pot potatoes, macaroni salad, & chicken & noodles. I didn't get any dessert. Gave in to a rough morning and drank a coke.
Then it was off to the dentist for a root canal (ugh). So I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat much for dinner. Afterwards, slept & slept. Valium is my friend.
Dinner: Bless Jack's heart... he got something he knew I could eat and would enjoy. He got gnocchi! Awwwww! I love gnocchi! And he cooked broccoli, cauliflower & carrots on the side, which I promptly mixed altogether with the gnocchi. It was good, comfort food that I could eat. It was yummy. Then back to bed.
This morning the scales looked better than I thought they might - 250.0 on the button. Can't complain about that.
Breakfast today: A slim-fast shake & a cup of hot tea. I don't think I'll have any trouble getting back on track.
